Real Life Church

Pastor Reggie Stutzman was part of SWC for many years as a teenager and young man before he and his wife Ibelsa planted Real Life Church in New York City. They began by feeding the people, meeting their practical needs first. Located in the South Bronx, Real Life Church reaches out to the people living in Hunts Point by showing who Jesus is, by actively demonstrating His love through practical means in addition to teaching the Word.

Real Life Church regularly offers meals and clothing to the community, in addition to their weekly services and Bible studies. They are working with the City to buy a strip club and turn it into a permanent location for the ministry. RLC is building the body of Christ by building the people of Hunts Point.

University Campus Ministry

The University campuses of America are a vital mission field, and SWC is happy to partner with Faith Christian Church in that effort. This ministry is based in Tucson, AZ with additional outreach to universities in Colorado and Florida.
At this crucial time in their lives, students need to hear the Gospel and to be established in a local church, and that is the primary aim of Faith Christian’s Campus Ministry.

Tyler and Sarah Wachenfeld are campus missionaries with FCC. They and their team equip other young student leaders to serve their fellow students through on- campus Bible studies and evangelism. At the University of Arizona campus alone, 300 Bible studies a week take place through this ministry.

Mom’s Pantry Food Bank

Mom’s Pantry was founded on the philosophy that no one should go hungry. More than one in five Arizona families faces food uncertainty, meaning they may not know where their next meal is coming from. Mom’s Pantry provides emergency food boxes that will cover meals for three days for the family or individual. The boxes including non-perishable canned goods, cereal, dry beans, rice and pastas, as well as perishable fruits and vegetables.

Mom’s Pantry aims to serve the community and distribute resources that will provide much-needed nutrition to needy adults and children, giving families and individuals a hand-up in their struggle against hunger. SWC is grateful to partner with this vital ministry.

The Brazos De Amour Children’s Ranch is located in Agua Prieta, Mexico, and SWC has been blessed to partner with them and with Pastor Martin & Yolanda Margillain for over 20 years. Amsted is their church in Agua Pieta, which provides pastoral leadership for the Children’s Ranch.

Brazos De Amour serves children and their families by providing shelter and nurturing care for children in need. These are children whose parents are not able to care for them or those who have been abandoned. Pastor Rueben and Rosa are the house-parents to the 30 children who live at the Ranch, and along with their dedicated team, they provide for the children to their adult years, helping them to enter college or pursue a career. Dozens of children have grown to know the love of Christ and a healthy and successful adulthood through the ministry at The Ranch. It is aptly named, “Arms of Love.”

Steve & Sandi Youngren founded Compassion Connection in 1997, first in Mexico and then in Ecuador, where they’ve served since 2004. Compassion Connection’s purpose is well-stated in these three directives: Planting Churches, Training Leaders and Restoring Communities.

Compassion Connection is committed to train local pastors in biblical and practical ministry to their communities. Because Compassion Connection’s desire is to see communities restored, part of their outreach includes free medical clinics and the provision of fresh water and food to anyone in need. They work to equip local churches in Ecuador to minister to issues of poverty, injustice and disease, so prevalent in their nation. But through the compassion of Christ, Compassion Connection is making a difference in Latin America.

Clearlight Ministries is based Cebu City in the Philippines, led by Len & Lynn Hummel. The Hummels have faithfully served the Lord and the people of the Philippines in a variety of ways.

One of their primary methods of outreach is that they write and print Gospel literature and teaching materials in the native language. They distribute these tracks and Bibles and hold weekly Bible studies all over the city for adults and children. SWC has partnered with Clearlight since 1988.
