Prayer is an important part of the SWC community. Intercessors pray regularly for the needs of the church family and beyond. They are notified about prayer requests throughout the week via email. This group of Prayer Partners is led by Roberta Stultz.

God has given us a great campus to use for ministry. From time to time we have work days or projects that you can be involved in. If you’d like to be involved with campus support, construction and / or maintenance, please let us know. Involvement can be either ongoing or a one time project. Please consider getting involved.

Home on the Way is a local outreach to some of our neighbors in the valley who are in desperate need.
You can become in involved in several different ways. First, on the first Tuesday of each month, a team from SWC prepares dinner at the SWC kitchen at 2:00 PM and then leaves for the HOTW campus at 4:30 PM. They minister, serve dinner and encourage the people who gather there. You can take part in either preparing the meal or going with the team to serve, or both.
We also gather blankets in the fall/winter and water and supplies in the summer to take down to the ministry. Watch the SWC E-news (sign up here) or the Sunday Top Priority for information about when and what is being gathered for the ministry.
Prayer support is also greatly appreciated.
Cindy and Chris Nelke lead this important outreach. Email the Nelkes for more information or to get involved.
Throughout the year at the beginning of every month, SWC gathers for prayer together. This is a comfortable setting and there is time for personal reflection as well as corporate prayer, though there is no pressure to pray in front of the group. This monthly gathering is in the sanctuary from 5 pm-6 pm on the first Saturday of every month.
