What a Mighty God!

"What a Mighty God we serve.  Angles bow before Him, heaven and earth adore Him.  What a mighty God we serve.”

Written by Roberta Stultz

This song always brings me back to the reality of the Might, Wonder and Majesty of our Father who always has been, and who will always be Love, Peace, Grace, Mercy. He is always available to comfort, advise and encourage.  My heart is so full of gratitude that He is faithful to His Word.  We can trust Him because He is the I AM.
His character and stability bring confidence that He will always be who He says He is, and will always be my Father God, the First Person of the Trinitarian family—one God, three Persons. Jesus the Son is often our focal point this time of the year. We recognize the humility of His coming to us in the most vulnerable and dependent form possible, yet being the Son of God and the exact image of His Father, he walked among us, experiencing every human experience, pain and emotion we encounter, including the sacrifice of his life, that we might be able to become part of the Heavenly Family by believing, excepting, following, walking out his example of sacrificial love and obedience.  Then to bring life, joy and power to our believing and obeying, Father God sent ”the One” whom Jesus promised. The Holy Spirit, the activator, motivator, energizer that would teach, lead, and comfort us while we walked out the Father’s plan and purpose of His Majestic heavenly design.  What a Mighty Heavenly Family, of which we are privileged to become a living part.
Thank you, Jesus, for making a way for us; you are the Way the Truth and the Life--The Door for us to enter the gates of thanksgiving and praise.  Our hope and trust are in you.  We can never imagine the courage and strength it took for you to experience those years here on earth. We can see in the Word that your intimate relationship with your heavenly Father gave you power for obedience and ability to overcome all the work of the enemy. We celebrate your coming to us on that miraculous night in Bethlehem so long ago, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased.
Blessings,
Roberta
