A Time for Everything

By Andrew Cascio

“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.”
‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭3‬:‭1‬-‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

I don't normally choose 8 verses, but I couldn't leave anything out. It's just too beautiful to not share it in its entirety. Each day truly is a blessing. It's part of God's plan in our lives. He knows what we need and what will get us to our final destination. We may not understand God's timing, we may not get why certain things happen, but have faith in knowing that it all happens for a reason. We need to trust in him. We need to believe that all things work together for his purpose. Through different seasons in our lives we can experience things and learn from them. We can grow and get stronger in our faith and in our relationship with him. I encourage you to read and reread these Bible verses. Think about the words and how they pertain to the current season you are in. Think about where you are and where you're going. Look back at something difficult and think about how God used it for your good, how you grew from it. There will be good days, there will be bad days, and HE will be there with us through it all!
