Who Do You Say Jesus Is?

MARK 8:31-33 ESV

We are apt to AVOID the thorns and move right to the throne.

Our ADVICE must be filtered through God’s Sovereignty.

MARK 8:34 ESV

“And calling the crowd to Him with His disciples, He said to them, if anyone WOULD come after me, let him DENY himself and TAKE UP his cross and FOLLOW Me.”

WOULD: Psalm 84:2 ESV

DENY:

I am not able to follow Jesus and “me” at the same time.

TAKE UP:

We are to endure and actually “embrace” the struggle
