Intro. Games growing up, different reasons for hiding, spiritual experience of hiding in God.

Psalm 32:1-2 Blessed, transgression forgiven, sin covered, the Lord counts no iniquity

Psalm 32:3-4 Kept silent, bones wasted, groanings, God’s hand heavy, strength dried up

Psalm 32:5-6 Acknowledge sin, confess my iniquity, Offer prayer now, no obstacles

Colossians 3:3 “Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. 3 For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

Psalm 32:7 You are a hiding place for me; you preserve me from trouble; you surround me with shouts of deliverance. Selah

I. YOU ARE A HIDING PLACE FOR ME…

a. I must maintain HOPE in His Word.

Psalm 119:114 ESV

b. I can always rely on His faithfulness.

Psalm Psalm 91:4 ESV

2. YOU PRESERVE ME FROM TROUBLE

a. Sometimes we will go through trouble.

Psalm 138:6-7 ESV

b. God preserves us because He loves us.

Psalm 17:8 ESV

3. YOU SURROUND ME WITH SHOUTS (or songs) OF DELIVERANCE

a. I’m to remember Him and meditate on Him in the night seasons.

Psalm 63:5-7 ESV

b. Ask God for “HIS” song of deliverance

Job 35:10 ESV, Psalm 42:8 ESV
