GO!

“He said to them, “Go!” So they came out and went into the pigs, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and died in the water.”

Jesus comes upon two men that are demon possessed. These men were so badly possessed and so violent no one could pass by. The demons begged of Jesus, if he would send them out, to send them into a herd of pigs in the distance. There were about 2,000 pigs! He says “Go!” and they leave the two men and go into the pigs, they rush into a lake and the pigs died. What I want to do focus on here is one word, Go! It takes Jesus one single word to cast out enough demons inside these men to fill 2,000 pigs.

He commands them with one tiny word, GO! Next time you’re dealing with something difficult, you don’t know how you’re going to get the money to pay that bill, you don’t know about that medical report, or you are struggling all over and it just doesn’t make sense. Turn to Jesus, say a prayer, put your faith and trust in him. In one single word he has the power to make things happen! Have faith in knowing that your problem is not too great for him. Lean on him and ask him to help carry your burden.
